Gökhan Kırıkkaya, one of our youngsters living in the Children’s Village of Bolluca, was elected to the Football Squad of the Provincial Youth and Sports in 2005 which was set within the framework of a joint project launched by the Istanbul Directorate of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Football Association. The team of the center-forward Gökhan is now at the top of their group in the Juniors Category. Improving his performance every day, Gökhan is the number one candidate for Top Scorer. The team was set up by conducting a probe throughout Istanbul, team members are considered candidates for the future U-17 National Team. Gökhan, an 8th grade student in T.T.V Bolluca Elementary School, also does very well in his studies.
' tablo[0]+='Zafer Dişbudak, being the first person from the Children’s Village of Bolluca to serve in the Armed Forces, has completed his military service and was discharged on 06.11.2005. We are now searching a job for him. Yüksel Bektaş has recently joined the Armed Forces and continues his military service in Kayseri Military Recreational Quarters.

The Falcons Troop of Mixed Scouts
' tablo[0]+='Scouting is a joyful activity that attracts all growing children, regardless of their skills, and offers a wide range of games, travels, cultural, artistic and educational events. The scouting activities in the Children’s Village arose from the need of encouraging the children to use their spare times healthily and consciously.

tablo[0]+='The Falcons Group of Mixed Scouts is named after their supporter Kenan Şahinler. The Troop’s Protective Board is composed of Kenan Şahinler, Mayor of of Bolluca Bahri Kazankaya, and the directors of the Children’s Village. The Falcons Group of Mixed Scouts includes 33 licensed scouts who are the pride of the Children’s Village of Bolluca with their activities.

During the summer and winter camps, our children also attended various other general and specific training programs including basic scouting, skiing, mountaineering and climbing, civil defense, orientation, archery, badminton, judo, jumping off-board and diving, use of wireless, first-aid, troop management, safety and development of personal skills. Additionally, they attended an earthquake emergency practice organized by the Directorate General of Civil Defense.
